IMMEDIATE SUCCESS! Providing Opportunities in the Arts
Formed in February 2005 to raise funds for the "Evenings in the Park" concert series the Alliance has made a significant contribution to Banning cultural activities.
Since the formation the organization the organization has grown each year and continues to regularly introduce new cultural opportunities.
Through a grant from the City of Banning in 2006 and 2007, the Alliance has been entrusted with the task of initiating arts and entertainment to assist in the revitalization of downtown Banning.
The Alliance introduced the first Art Festival in Banning, "The Art Hop" in 2006. "The Art Hop" is now in its fourth year.
In 2007 the Alliance became the operators of the Banning Center for the Arts Gallery and expanded it to the fine Arts Gallery it is today. The Gallery has the first official Artist Co-op in Banning with 20 members.

The most recent effort to fulfill The Alliance's mission of bringing arts and culture to the area is the introduction of Community Theater in Banning. Established late in 2007, the Pass Area Performing Artists (PAPA) are now presenting performances.
A Pass Area wide Youth Arts Council is the next Alliance project ready to launch. On the drawing board for late 2008/early 2009 is a film society - another first for Banning
