Banning Cultural Alliance Youth Program
From "Crayons to Perfume" this is a great place to be!
The Banning Cultural Alliance Youth Programs are here to help develop a sense of self worth, develop self expression, increase creativity, build transferable career skills, enhance problem solving and awareness for local youth, through a variety of activities and events, where young teens can participate and develop not only themselves but their involvement in the community.
This program is designed to help youth develop their leadership skills with the ultimate goal of the youth organizing and running their own program through their own Youth Arts Council, under the caring and gentle guidance of the adult program director and other community members met along the way.
Youths ages 12 to 18 are welcome to attend the Youth Arts Council meeting and voice their ideas about what program and events they would like to see in the Pass area. By becoming a member of the council YOU become one of the leaders that helps to make these decisions.
Created and built for the youth by themselves this program is a great place to be!
When we are not at an event, our Saturday meetings held are from 2 to 4 p.m. at 109 W Hays Street at the corner of Second. (the old church on the corner).
